昨日、３月８日は国際女性Dayでした。

日本はひな祭りがあるので聞いた事ないとは思いますが、

国際的に女性の日とされています。

もとはアメリカで女性労働者が婦人参政権を要求して

デモを起こしたのがきっかけで、

のちに「女性の政治的自由と平等のために戦う」記念の日になったようです。

Yesterday, 8th of March was International Women's day.

Maybe most Japanese doesn't know it 

because we have Hina Matsuri (Girls day) on 3rd of March. 

In different regions the focus on celebrations ranges 

from general celebrations of respect, appreciation

 and love towards women to a celebration for women's economic, 

political and social achievements.

イタリアでは、この日に男性が女性にミモザの花を贈ります。

イタリアとロシアではミモザの花が女性の日のシンボルみたいです。

On this day, in Italy men give yellow mimosa to women.

The mimosa is the symbol of the celebrations 

of Women's day in Italy and Russia.

 私も主人からミモザの花束を頂きました♡

I've got mimosa bouquet  from husband♡

そしてちょうどこの日に女子会ランチがあり、

お友達とランチしてミモザケーキもいただきました♪

I celebrated on this day with girl's friends  

and we had mimosa cake!

見た目も可愛くて、レモン味のケーキでとっても美味しかったです♡

It looked so cute and was so tasty♡

日本だと大人の女性がお祝いされる事ってあまりないので、

イタリアでみんなでお祝いしてとっても楽しかったです。

In Japan, there is not much celebration for adult women.

Therefore I had so much fun to celebrate for women's day with friends.

イタリアに来てから日本ではないお祝いの日などを体験するので

とても楽しいし、文化の違いを感じられて勉強にもなります。

I'm having nice time since I came to Italy 

because I have new experiences and learn cultural differences.

もうすぐヨーロッパではイースター（復活祭）があります。

イギリスでは体験しましたが、

イタリアではどんな風に過ごすのか楽しみです♪

In Europe, there is Easter soon.

I am looking forward to spending Easter holiday in here.
